The main muscle that will be targeted by the following exercises is known as the platysma. This muscle allows the jaw to move downward as well as both corners of the mouth. Good posture must be used when performing these exercises. Not only will the exercises be more effective and have better results, but the throat muscles will eventually have a tighter looking appearance if the head is held up.
A relatively easy and simple exercise can be done right before you go to sleep. To do this, simply lie on your side and gently tilt your head back on your pillow. This will stretch the neck. If done properly, no discomfort will occur.
